Great stay!

The people were incredibly friendly with good suggestions of what to do in the area. The room was nice and clean, perfect for a quick break from the city. The burger was also really good

Fantastic location for train station, no to long a walk to hamilton racecourse and local pubs ,look forward to returning next year when bar and restaurant in hotel open,great day and night

Lovely hotel!

Great location for train station and race course, great wee hotel, very clean and tidy, Owners were very friendly and helpful. Used the restaurant for lunch and the service was also great here, we were able to sit in the outside seating area in the afternoon to enjoy the sunshine.

One night business trip.

A great little hotel, with service through the roof! Ideally situated for out of town travellers (two blocks away from the train station) and fantastic service. Couldn't have wished for a better place to get some shut eye.

Decent

The hotel is in a convenient location, and offers good value. The bedroom was a little tired - for example the headboard was squint - and there was mould in the bathroom. Decent for an overnight stopoff if you need somewhere to stay in Hamilton.

Fine. A bit of manoeuvring was required to park round the back since the front was overful. The tap was disconcertingly loose and breakfast was cold only and a bit over carbohydrated and low in fruit. It was very comfortable and friendly.

Handy for railway station

The hotel is very handy if you're arriving at Hamilton West railway station as it is only 2 or 3 minutes walk away. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was very clean and comfortable and the rate was very reasonable and included a nice breakfast.

Excellent value for money

We had a very warm welcome, room was excellent and breakfast was more than adequate. As we had a ferry to catch, we had to leave straight after breakfast but hope to return soon.

The Owner and the staff were helpful and pleasant.They all went the extra mile to be helpful.The barman in the evening was very nice and chatty.Thecontinental breakfast was really pleasing..we would stay there again if we were in the area.Was definitely value for the money.

The staff were excellent could not fault them. Only downside was a continental breakfast would have paid more more for a cooked breakfast not a lot of choice. Otherwise a very pleasant stay.

Short 2 night stay

Fantastic staff very welcoming and pleasant. Rooms were ok. Very hot and a bit worried about leaving window open as on ground floor next to path. The radiator in the bathroom needs a good paint otherwise decor is ok.Found the bed to be uncomfortable as every time one of us turned over the springs could be heard and felt. Continental breakfast was good. Didn’t miss a cooked breakfast.Drinks from the bar were very cheap.
