The Helfant Apartment is located 1.5 miles from the Colgate Inn and less than 1 mile from the Seven Oaks Golf Course. The apartment is situated above the garage on the left side of the main house. It is a completely private space with a full bathroom and a complete kitchen, including a microwave oven, a stove with convection oven and a mini-refrigerator. The apartment contains a small flat screen television and wireless internet. The bedroom has an air conditioning unit that cools the entire place in the spring and summer and electric baseboard to heat the main areas. The bathroom contains radiant heating underneath the floor and a heated towel rack. The apartment has birch flooring in the living area and bedroom and slate flooring in the bathroom. There is plenty of parking at the Helfant Residence as well as an electric vehicle charging station located inside the garage. The EV charger is available to guests and included in the nightly fee.

Perfect spot in Hamilton

Astrid and Ian are lovely hosts with beautiful property. The apartment is perfect for a few nights stay that's close to my family. I've stayed twice now and its been a pleasure. I hope to be back over the summer!

Visiting my Sister at Colgate

We needed a place to rest before helping my sister move out of her dorm. She attends Colgate and it is a 5 minute drive from where we stayed. This was a comfortable place and had everything we needed!

Just what we needed

We needed a place for my husband and I close to Hamilton and Astrid delivered. The apartment had all the amenities and was very comfortable! The location was perfect, parking was great and we look forward to staying there again in the future.

Lovely quiet place off the beaten track

The room was immaculate! The room is over the home's garage, but skylights make the space well lit. Comfortable, easy to find, woods all around- I would stay there again, for sure.

Its a great house about a 10 minute drive to the Colgate Campus and restaurants and cafe. The house is well equipped with everything you may need and more. The host checked in on us via msgs to make sure we were comfortable. Loved the place. Highly recommend.

Comfortable and Close to Colgate

My daughter was playing some hockey on the Colgate campus. This spot is perfect for a weekend in Hamilton. Besides the hockey we had a nice hike, saw live music, and experienced the Hamilton Film festival. We cooked a few meals in the apartment and slept well in the quiet of the woodsy setting. Stairs could be a challenge for elderly and shower is a tight fit for the big and tall. Our stay was excellent and would book again.
