"I would have rated cleanliness a 5 star but our first day back after checking in to our room, the freshen up was bad. Bed was not made well, towels were thrown on the bathroom rack and after asking for an iron it was not left. I called a total of 3 times to request an iron and board. Other than that a beautiful view and front desk staff were very nice!! Thank you. "

"even though it is an older property,it is by far one of the cleanest property we have stayed at. when you enter the room it has a fresh clean smell. Nice furniture, clean bathroom and nice linens. comfortable bed. AND, of course the view from the balcony is awesome. adequate continental breakfast. Staff was friendly and helpful. "

"Beautiful waterfront property. There are houses all around but most of the time we had the beach to ourselves. The kayaks were a big plus! There are 2 youth and 3 adult kayaks (one takes in water, so really 2 adult kayaks). Portable a/c in the living area was a lifesaver. It doesn't cool the whole cabin in warm weather, though. There are only 2 very old box fans, so if you're local and able to bring some good fans I'd recommend it. The back bedroom in particular got very hot. No dining table, but the patio setup is fantastic and we were able to eat all our meals outside enjoying the view.Plenty of dishes, plenty of towels, everything you need (except bath soap - bring your own). Very convenient location with Safeway and restaurants just a short drive away. (Note: Closest grocery store is WinCo but they do not accept credit cards.) Would stay again!"

"My favorite thing about this place is the brook crossing the property. I spent as much time as I could sitting out there. It was so peaceful. The house itself is very comfortable and clean. I walked in the kitchen barefoot and no dirt or grime stuck to my feet! The kitchen had everything we needed, the coffee supplies were great, they offered very good coffee. I brought my own tea, and was delighted to find a tea pot! We went out to the Lake Cushman area to hike, and although the Staircase area was closed due to the fire, we hiked Lake Lena, and another hike, very beautiful area to explore. We did use the guest pass to Lake Kokanee for one afternoon, very lovely! We had several questions for the host, who promptly replied and was very helpful. In every aspect, this is a wonderful place to stay. We will be back! We highly recommend this house."
