"Attalos Hotel is an amazing little place located in a great location in Athens. The hotel is older, but the bathrooms have been updated and there are two elevators! All of the staff at the front desk were very polite and helpful, spoke English, and offered suggestions of tours, etc. The hotel is located on a busy street and is within a very short walking distance to Monastaraki Square, the Acropolis, the Ancient Agora, and multiple other interesting places to visit. There are numerous restaurants in the surrounding areas that make excellent food! My room had a nice balcony with a view of the Acropolis. The street is pretty noisy, and you will still hear some city sounds with the sliding doors closed, however it didn’t prevent me from sleeping! I will definitely stay at the Attalos when returning to Athens!"

"Excellent location within easy access to Monastariki square and metro station. Excellent, friendly and helpful staff. Room was spacious and somewhat comfortable although we experienced a lot of noise from a bar at rear of hotel into early hours of the morning. Bottled wate, tea and coffee provided in room. Very good shower and bathroom. Breakfast was very good and wide variety to chose from."
