"It was a great location for our plans. All staff contact was terrific. I just wish ALL hotels would have a 2 hour window of adults only in the pool/hot tub areas. Here and the place we stayed the night before were jam pack with loud screaming children, so it was IMPOSSIBLE to go for a swim or sit in the hot tub."

"We were looking for a calm and quite respite, and this checked the boxes! Property and furniture were clean and comfortable. And despite the heat, we were able to spend time on the shaded deck. We found ourselves choosing to stay in and enjoy the river, adding a cold drink and a good book, and we were set. 10 out of 10! Its not often mentioned in reviews, but we appreciated that the rental fees charged were not exorbitant. Its a beautifully preserved historical landmark, and we appreciate that Mike and Monica make it possible for visitors to enjoy this gem."
