"Good Things: - The location was perfect. The hotel is right on the beach and near lots of restaurants and stores - The staff was very friendly - The indoor and outdoor pools were nice Bad Things: - Not one time in all 8 days of my stay did they ever service or clean the room. - The area near the elevators was dirty and wasn't cleaned for days after someone bled on the floor. - The toilet took about 5 flushes before it would work. Someone did come to "fix" it, but it only reduced the number of flushes to 2-3 before it worked. - Though it was supposedly a non-smoking hotel, someone smoked profusely in the room next to my son's and therefore his room reeked of smoke for several days of the stay. - The hotel was very loud. Their was very little, if any, sound insulation, and when the doors closed in the rooms, they slammed, and you could hear it from half-say down the hall. - There was construction going on right across the street, and they were literally pile-driving foundation poles 8 hours a day for many of the days of our stay. - There was a big push both in person and on the wi-fi to buy a time-share."

"This place has a great location, but needs work. Rooms were clean, but definitely need work - rust in the bathrooms, stained ceilings, outside of the building in disrepair in places (lots of crumbling at the edges of balconies). Hallways and elevatoes are dark and dingy in places. No USB outlets in the rooms. Pools are a nice amenity, but could also use with some cleaning and updating. The beach here is amazing- wide, clean, not crowded."

"The rooms need updated, the pool is small The front desk lady and cleaning ppl were all very nice They need to figure out parking it’s terrible Parking a block over in a dark lot it’s not safe or convenient We were on the first floor which was ocean front but I’m used to being higher up floor"

"Great views.of the beach and waterfront. Hotel needs updating for price paid. Online pictures are deceiving and dont portray actual hotel looks inside and out. Amenities were scarce and difficult to get clean towels. Understaffed. No smoking policies on balconies or rooms were not enforced and could smell Marijuana during all hours. Great outdoor things and restaurants along the boardwalk."

"The room was adequate for a short stay, but there were several things that could be improved. The bathroom needed attention, as the toilet felt loose and moved when used. While it was nice that laundry facilities were available on-site, guests need to bring quarters to use them. I also wish there had been an outdoor area or designated space to air-dry clothes, but that was not available. The room appeared to be vacuumed, but the carpet felt old and not particularly clean, making me wonder how often it is actually deep-cleaned. Personally, it left me feeling a bit uncomfortable. The kitchenette and room setup were sufficient for a brief stay, but I would not recommend it for longer stays or for anyone planning to do much cooking. On the positive side, the breakfast was decent and offered a variety of options, which we appreciated. The staff was also friendly and helpful. Overall, the hotel was acceptable for a short two-night stay, but it did not exceed expectations."
