Real Hawaii Home with Ohana
If you want to stay in an authentic family home in a real (not resort built) town, this is the place. The home is beautiful, tasteful, and full of real old-style Hawai’iana. This includes authentic artwork, a real longboard made of koa wood and authentic mid century collectibles from Honolulu gift shops c. 1950’s and 60’s. In addition, the home is one block from the beach and three blocks from the town. Hanalei, is an authentic, (not resort built) town with everything you need for a perfect vacation including a wide price range of shops and restaurants. You can even get “box lunch” and “shave ice” in town in addition to local fine dining style restaurants with fresh caught fish. The house is open air and has a beautiful new deck complete with hot tub and, best of all, a private outdoor shower with hot water. There are family and visitor keepsakes and a beautiful quiet garden filled with orchids and exotic tropical plants. The home is even better than depicted in the VRBO website photos, which is a first for me. Best of all you’ll be in a quiet residential neighborhood one block from the beach and three blocks from town.
