"Good practical hotel next to the train station, little noise from the trams outside, but OK"

"Central Location and in walking distance of major shops/restaurant. Breakfast options are good and the rooms are spacious. Would recommend for anyone staying in Kassel."

"Hotel is about 10 minute walk to old city, across street from train station. Parking lot was small but seemed to be sufficient. Appeared to be issue with wifi speed on second floor, was very slow, virtually not usable. Appears the rooms are recently renovated. Shower is small, might be issue for larger people. Breakfast was okay, but not as good as other hotels in Germany. Room was slightly larger than typical rooms in Germany. Cost was fair for one night with breakfast. Was able to leave car after checkout to explore city."

"My favourite hotel in Kassel. The room was clean with a nice bathroom. The duvet was the standard single on a double bed. Not the most comfortable for me. The restaurant was excellent for breakfast and evening meals. "

"Did not like the German-style bathrooms (no shower curtains) —no hot water in the tap which is not a must but would be nice."

"I have always liked to book Holiday in any country I visited.The one in Gottingen is exceptional . The breakfast is the best in all three countries compared. I am pleased with the kindness of the staff . The downside of it is that not all staff can speak English and Uber eats and taxi do not deliver to the hotel . Overall,I enjoyed the service from Holiday Inn Express at Gottinghen."
