Great option even if it looks initially a bit simple. The rooms are awesome and the food is amazing... unexpected so. Easy parking ! While the train station is close you do not hear a thing....

Nice, clean and modern boutique hotel with large rooms and baths. Although located in a light industrial area, the hotel was very quiet and is conveniently located to the Wunstorf train station and several grocery stores and other shops within walking distance. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only complaints: The floor heating in my room would not respond to the thermostat setting (it was very warm) and the breakfast buffet (good), is pricey if booked separately.

Meine Buchung war beruflich und daher kurzfristig am Tag der Anreise-ich habe zwar ein schönes und gut ausgestattetes Zimmer bekommen, leider im OG-Flur gleich über dem Empfang liegt und ich deshalb bei der Abendveranstaltung im EG-Eingangsbereich gegen 22:00 Uhr das Gefühl hatte, mittendrin zu sein. Das Restaurant ist sehr empfehlenswert was Speisen und Personal angeht.

Leider war morgens weder Fitnessraum noch Sauna geöffnet, obwohl es anders gesagt wurde. Frühstücksauswahl war total gut und lecker - leider waren Pancakes kalt und Getränke im Nebenraum muss man erstmal finden. Das Hotel ist im Industriegebiet, hat uns aber für eine Nacht nicht gestört. Ansonsten war das Zimmer aber schön groß und gut eingerichtet.

Super Hotel mit freundlichem Personal. Ich kann mich über nichts beschweren. Nur die Lage ist im Gewerbegebiet nicht für jedermann etwas. Dadurch jedoch Abends sehr ruhig und entspannt.

Grosse déception avec cet hôtel. Arrivé après 23h donc obligé de téléphoner pour se faire ouvrir la porte. Difficulté de compréhension avec une personne ne connaissant pas l’hôtel. Finalement une fois à l’intérieur, à la lumière du téléphone j’ai pu trouver ma clé laissée sur le bureau avec un message illisible en allemand. Puis 20 minutes pour trouver ma chambre via un second contact téléphonique. Du coup, 40mn de Check in à minuit, et une fois dans la chambre, obligé d’écraser une demi-douzaine insectes rampants dans la chambre. Obligé de mettre toutes mes affaires en hauteur. Poubelle de salle de bain non vidée. Éclairage de la salle de bain tellement faible qu’il est hasardeux de se raser. Bref, déçu du début jusqu’à la fin. Seul le petit déjeuner fut agréable et très correct.

Zimmer super, Bett ok, Lautstärke in gut

- Personal: Sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit (sowohl per Mail, als auch in Person. In meinem Fall ging es um die Verkürzung des Aufenthalts und ich wurde sehr freundlich bedient) - Zimmer: Schön, sauber (Bei mir mit Außenterrasse, besonders entspannt, um sich abends auszuruhen) - Bad: Schöne Dusche, auch sonst gut - Bett: Ok, könnte für mich weicher sein (Ich muss aber dazu sagen, dass ich 1,90cm groß bin und ca. 110kg wiege) - Umgebung: Döner und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten um die Ecke (5 Minuten zu Fuß) - Lautstärke: Vom Flur hört man nichts. Bei geöffnetem Fenster wird man allerdings morgens manchmal wach (es sind glaube ich einige Firmen in der Nähe und dadurch hört man manchmal LkWs etc. - ist aber voll im Rahmen)

Schönes Zimmer, super Bad

- Schönes, gemütliches Zimmer - Bequemes Bett (nicht so hart, wie manch andere Hotelbetten) - Recht ruhige Umgebung. Ich bin sonst sehr lärmempfindlich - hier kann ich aber das Fenster offen lassen. - Bad ist perfekt und hat Fußbodenheizung bis 30 Grad (!). Das ist super angenehm. Die Dusche ist sehr geräumig und ebenerdig.

Falsche Bilder zu den Zimmern!

Nicht schön, da sehr laut, trotz Schallschutztüre. Die Absenkung der Türe hatte nicht funktioniert,(anscheinend defekt) man konnte unter der Türe dursehen. Zimmer war nicht nach den veröffentlichten Bildern. Es war ein Behindertes Zimmer (Nr 01). Dusche mit Vorhang, Bett auf Stelzen und kein Queensbet, sondern 2 Matratzen zusammen geschoben. Matratzen waren wie Hängematte, völlig durchgelegen. Handtücher ausgefranst. Dunkle Fliesen zeigen viele Dreckecken, dennoch einigermaßen sauber war das Zimmer. Dennoch sehr kaltes Ambiente.

Die Unterkunft „Cantera by Wiegand“ können wir als Familie insgesamt gut bewerten. Mit ansprechenden, sehr sauberen und gut ausgestatteten Zimmern wird die Hauptaufgabe jener Unterkunft exzellent erfüllt. Das sehr freundliche und zuvorkommende Personal, welches sogar Extrawünsche möglich gemacht hat, ergänzt jene Unterkunft hervorragend. Auch ein (zusätzlich buchbares) reichhaltiges Frühstück ermöglicht einen guten Start in den Tag. Nichtsdestotrotz muss an der Unterkunft bemängelt werden, dass die klimatischen Bedingungen in den Zimmern aufgrund der vielen Fenster und fehlenden Klimaanlagen, zur Zeit unseres Aufenthalts (Ende Juli) äußerst beschwerlich waren und auch eine Abkühlung der Zimmer erst gar nicht möglich gewesen ist. Des Weiteren ist das vorhandene WLAN-Netzwerk in den Zimmern, die am Ende eines Flures liegen, instabil und sehr langsam, sodass eine Nutzung dieses Netzwerks dort fast ausgeschlossen ist. Zudem liegt die Unterkunft mitten im Wunstorfer Gewerbegebiet, was das Ambiente von dieser zwar stark beeinträchtigt, jedoch durch die Unterkunft selbstverständlich nicht zu ändern ist. Bemerkbar macht sich die Lage der Unterkunft beispielsweise durch starken Güterverkehr (mittels Zug und Lkw), durch permanente Geräusche von Fabriken oder die doch eher verschmutztere Umgebung. Nichtsdestotrotz überwiegen für uns die stark positiven Aspekte deutlich, was „Cantera by Wiegand“ zu einer tollen Unterkunft für einen Aufenthalt in der Nähe des Steinhuder Meeres macht.

Versehen in der Buchung muss man eiskalt zahlen!!

Ein Zimmer gebucht, aber durch versehen für 2 Personen. Alleine angereist und wollte es ändern lassen, aber das war nicht möglich und so bezahlt man dann auch den höheren Preis für die Übernachtung und on Top auch noch das zweite Frühstück für die vorhandene zweite Person!! Der Junge Mann an der Rezeption hat extra seinen Chef angerufen, aber der hat bestätigt das ich das alles zahlen muss. Danke!!!! Und wie verrechne ich das weiter, den ich war auf einer Dienstreise? Gar nicht, ergo bleibe ich auf den Kosten sitzen. Ein nächstes Mal in diesem Hotel und dieser Kette wird es nicht geben!!!
