I was only in Hanoi for an 18 hour layover and wanted a hotel to nap a bit before exploring the city. The manager picked us up from the airport at 6am, organized a driver to take us back to the hotel from the city, and then dropped us back off at the airport in the evening. The property was clean and everyone was very helpful

When we needed a place to rest, with a 17 hour stop over and 2 kids, Family Transit Hotel were there. We think its a husband and wife team that run the hotel, and they both ensured our short stay in Hanoi was lovely and effortless. We were collected from the airport quickly for 100,000 Vietnamese Dong (about £3) 1/3 of what the taxi's wanted to charge, and quickly shown to our large and clean room, with an early check in, for a small extra charge. We had some delicious food and then had a lovely long sleep, awakening to be taken back to the airport for our next flight. Very nice and very helpful people running the hotel. All of our requirements provided for with minimal fuss. The perfect stopover. Thank you very much. xxxx

Family run hotel with hospitable service from every member. Located a short drive from the hotel, they offered taxi service for us from the airport and to our next stay. They have a great and inexpensive dining menu, along with snacks/drinks available downstairs. Someone is always at the desk for assistance. Our room came with two queen size beds, very comfortable, extra pillows aswell. Definitely recommend staying here.

This a perfect no frills, very inexpensive place that is very close to the airport. It was clean though our room was on the street and noisy at night. One of our windows could not lock but we were able to secure it. We paid a small fee for both pick up and drop off at the airport. They offered a simple but good little menu for the evening and the Wi-Fi worked. If u are arriving late or leaving early in the morning for a flight out, or if you just want to avoid traffic, then you might want to consider this as an option. Especially good for students or families traveling on a budget.

Superb Value For Money

The hotel is small and, on the face of it basic. But has everything you need or would want for either an airport stopover or even a longer stay. At the prices they charge, half the amenities would still be wonderful value for money but the room had everything - quiet fan, air con, wonderful warm shower and very clean and big bedroom and toilet. Even a selction of different sized slippers and all the necessary toiletries. The service, from two people who spoke about as much English as me Vietnamese, was exceptional as, apart from the very cheap and efficient private airport collection and drop off, they provided me with two free all inclusive (milk and suger) sachets of coffee, a couple of bottles of water plus did their best to communicate through a translation App. Cannot fault anything and you would have to be looking for five star treatment if you were not satisfied. VERY BIG THANKS to both people concerned and, if I ever fly into Hanoi (Noi Bai) Airport again, I'd feel thrilled to use the Familt Transit Hotel again. Incidentally, it's too hot and humid to walk much of the year BUT the hotel is within walkable distance of both arrivals and departures, although you have to criosss a main road (which has breaks in the central reservation) to get from one ot the other.

Genuine Vietnamese warmth

A poor transportation decision found me at Hanoi airport at 1:00 am, and I'd Googled 24 hour check-in hotels in the vicinity. Booked Family Transit but wasn't sure if the Front Desk would still be open, so I used the Hotels.com chat with an agent to confirm. Hain waited up for me, and with minimal processing, i had a roof and a bed. Place was clean, spacious, and the perfect tonic. I slept well, was greeted with a coffee and a smile in the morning, and a taxi was soon arranged at a favourable price for my onward trip into Hanoi. Wonderful, and if he ever builds an infinity pool on the roof ... 👍
