Our experience at Grand Hotel Du Lac Hanoi was perfect! Camellia and the team were fantastic, and were so welcoming, helpful and kind from start to end, going the extra mile to ensure that we were taken care of during our stay. The rooms and facilities and value with the buffet breakfast was incredible! This was a 10/10 Hôtel experience, and I will definitely stay here again when I next come to Hanoi.

An excellent rooftop bar, in a great location next to the cathedral, and adjacent to the lake. Fantastic dining options nearby. Breakfast at the hotel shouldn’t be missed with French influenced elements including croquet monsieur and croque madame. Rooms are elegantly furnished, and staff are extremely friendly and helpful

The Grand Hotel du Lac is an excellent hotel to stay at when visiting Hanoi Old Quarter. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. They speak English very well and treat you like royalty. Special thanks to receptionists Lilly and Abbey for making our 3 different stays memorable. The hotel is in an excellent location, is extremely comfortable and clean, and the breakfast buffet is great.

The hotel was very nice and comfortable, and all of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Erin, Abby and Lily at the front desk greeted me daily and helped me with plans. The great service of the restaurant staff and the bell boys who opened the door all warmed the heart of this solo traveler.

This hotel is located in a busy area of the Old Town as it is near the Nha Tho Lon. However, the shining star of this hotel has been the staff. They went out of their ways to be helpful. We had a fabulous couple of days at Hotel Du Lac. Best location in the heart of old town with beautiful views of the Cathedral. Special thanks to the breakfast chef. We have stayed in many good hotels across Vietnam but rate breakfasts here as one of the best. From freshly carved Jamon to beautiful yoghurt, fruits and Eggs Hollandaise everything was delicious and good quality. The staff are so nice and friendly - we went to a hidden Pho restaurant popular with locals and bypassing the Insta fads with queues snaking down the street. A beautiful facial at La Maison the inhouse spa rounded off a perfect visit. Highly recommended hotel.

We stayed at the Grand Hotel Du Lac for five days during our vacation in Hanoi and loved everything about it. The staff was so helpful and gave us great advice on restaurants/tourist spots to visit. The room was very comfy and the AC felt amazing after walking around the Hanoi summer all day. Also really enjoyed the rooftop bar and pool and the extensive breakfast options!
