"This space really exceeded expectations. It was much larger than I was expecting and was situated in a quiet neighborhood near downtown. Gaining access to the home was easy and communicated well by the host. I would certainly consider rebooking this space on a return visit to Madison."

"Quick getaway for 4 sisters (from Cincinnati) and the home was the perfect setting! So clean and newly renovated- great soothing color scheme and decorations makes it feel like you’re at home. Very well stocked (coffee and toiletries) and lots of info on Madison with things to do. Hosts are very responsive. Nice location - walkable to town and to river walk - with outdoor seating on front and back porches. Definitely will visit again! "

"I can't say enough good things about our stay here at the Hardy Lake House. It was clean, plenty of amenities and just felt perfectly nestled into the woods for a secluded hideaway. The host is absolutely one of the second-best parts of the experience. Having had a few things not go according to my plans he was extremely accommodating, and his generosity is hard to find in this quickly changing world. I am also a photographer and videographer, and I found there was so much beauty to be captured...

"The property was very clean and located in a nice area near a cvs and gas station with a Mc Donalds. The fenced back yard was great for the dog and there was a nice sidewalk for walking the dog. It was just minutes from clifty falls and madison which is why we came. The host was very responsive and was able to accomodate our special request. I hope all future vrbo stays we may do go as well as this one."

"The property is beautiful, clean and there is a welcome book to help you along. There is also a welcome book you can share your experiences which makes it really nice because you can read the memories and places others have enjoyed. It is close to the road but there is parking on the side street and the owner lets you know it is best to park there, parking was not an issue. The beds, bedding and pillows were really comfortable. We Love Madison and look forward to trying new places next time...

"Our first time to Madison, and it did not disappoint. The town is historic and beautiful! Our stay in the home was wonderful! It was tastefully decorated with many beautiful features. The location was perfect! An easy walk to downtown! We would definitely stay at this charming house again!"

"We were blown away!! This was our first VRBO experience for a girls trip and it exceeded our expectations. They left us fresh flowers, a thank you note, snacks, drinks, and had just thought of EVERYTHING we could need throughout the house. We were especially impressed by the communication- they provided us with suggestions of what to do around Madison as well as just letting us know they were available if we had any questions. Cannot recommend enough!"

"The home was amazing, it had everything we needed and then some. Very clean and beds comfortable. The only thing that I would suggest is putting some sort of railing at the very top of the steps where it turns to the left. My sister who is 74 had a hard time going the last few steps because she didn’t have anything to hold onto. "
