Enjoyed my stay..clean professional on point

Room is rundown and could use an upgrade on the cabinets but overall clean and spacious.

Very clean rooms, decent hot breakfast, fully stocked kitchenette in room. Very comfortable bed, hotel is in a nice quiet area. Would definitely recommend.

I will highly recommend this location to any anyone that is traveling

AC was out and in some state of repair in the 1st floor hall. 2nd floor stair door was missing the handle. Breakfast was good and staff did a good job with it on a busy Saturday morning!

Everything was great!!! The people were wonderful the staff housekeeping and breakfast staff was awesome and tried to accommodate!!!!

Everyone is super sweet! Housekeeping does a beautiful job keeping the property looking nice. Management goes above and beyond to ensure you have everything you need anytime of thr day or night! The rooms are spacious and clean. My only small issue is the rooms need a microwave. I have three childrwn and frequently need to reheat something. The staff was kind enough to heat anything I needed in their break room but kinda a pain to have to leave the room and go to the front desk for the service...

Being that it was right off I-26 it was really convenient for our night stay coming from Florida and onto Ashville NC. Room was very clean n up to date with a very comfortable King Size bed for an excellent night rest. Totally recommended.

This was a very clean hotel.

The Lantern is a converted 1950s-era firehouse in the heart of Columbia's exciting Vista district. The conversion is AMAZING from a design POV, and a lot of fun to experience. I also loved is its commitment to providing meaningful employment opportunities for people with disabilities, who make up 30% of its staff. They were lovely. I've already booked my second stay.

This property and ALL of the staff are fabulous! I love boutique hotels and this one is now at the top of the list as one of my favorites. The decor is nice. The beds are comfy. It’s walking distance to restaurants and shopping. They offer free breakfast and did I mention complimentary wine and popcorn upon checking in!!! I will be back!!!
