"Very cute and updated. Clean. Microwave, coffee and fridge cute and helpful. Pool was clean and nice. Lots of furniture around it. Volleyball. Campfire pit. Only negatives were parking was a bit tight confusing. Also, check out was 10:00 A.M. which is a a bit early. Usually 11:00 most other hotels."

"Bad Axe Motel may not be a new modern establishment, but it's updated, very clean, comfortable beds, equipped kitchenette, in the country on a main road, & convenient location. With parking right in front of room door. I would absolutely stay again, and recommend it."

Joe was extremely nice and very accommodating. We wanted to stay an extra day so we contacted him, and it was available so we were happy. We hope to come back, this is one of our favorite places "
