Cozy, Clean, In-Town, Cottage - Walk to town. Dogs Welcome!

Cozy and clean 2 bedroom cottage on Lake Street a few blocks from downtown Harbor Springs. Bathroom was fully renovated in spring 2023. It's a short walk to, downtown restaurants and shopping, and a quick drive to golf courses, Pond Hill Farm, the Tunnel of Trees, and ski areas. Our dog-friendly cottage has a well-equipped kitchen, dining area, 2 TVs, high-speed wifi, 2 queen beds with new mattresses, parking, and a large back yard with seating and a fire pit. The house is professionally cleaned between guests and includes fresh sheets, bath towels, and beach towels for your stay.

During the summer there is a window AC unit that keeps the whole house cool and comfortable. Our dog-friendly and kid-friendly house has all the amenities of home in a great location convenient to all that Northern Michigan has to offer.

Relax in the living room on a cozy couch and pair of comfy club chairs. The renovated bathroom has built-in shelving, a new shower and all new fixtures. There is a small breezeway next to the kitchen and adjacent laundry room with shelves/hooks for your winter or lake gear! Other things you'll find to make your stay easy and enjoyable: playing cards, puzzles, extra blankets and pillows, wine/bottle openers, paper towel, toilet paper, dish and hand soap, and hangers.

The house is situated on a large lot with a big and mostly private yard that backs up to trees on two sides. You'll be just a few blocks from amazing views of Little Traverse Bay and Lake Michigan!

Pet friendly, great neighborhood to walk Riley. Location is great to Harbor Springs. The cottage was clean and the beds were super comfy! Nice TVs and easy to use remotes. That's a plus! We are not large people but we will say that the bathroom is extremely small and the shower is super small. Lake Street is somewhat of a busy street with lots of dump trucks going up and down. We visited local wineries, shopped, ate/drank and hiked in the area. Lots of great restuarants Riley loves the doggie beach at Harbor Springs!

Fall Stay

Ski Weekend

Perfect little house close to Nubs and downtown Harbor Springs. We enjoyed a quick Ski weekend with the family and would rent this house again for sure!

Lovely time in Harbor Springs!

Our family (including dog) enjoyed our stay here in early August 2024! The location was convenient to so many things as well as a quick walk down the hill into town. We were provided everything we needed while we were there, and we appreciated having a laundry on site! The newly updated bathroom was great as well. Grateful to find a dog friendly cabin so close to family who live in Petoskey and Harbor Springs. We enjoyed walking to our favorite coffee shop, sailing and dining at our fav restaurants in the area. Nothing beats a Michigan Summer up north!

Pet friendly Harbor Springs

Delightful property within easy walking distance from downtown, Lake Michigan and parks. Maureen is a thoughtful and responsive host. Property is very clean, comfortable and pet friendly and supplied with pretty much everything you might need. The wine and tennis ball were appreciated by dog and owner alike! Tiny house in great location

This cozy little house is on Lake Street very near the Elementary and High Schools. The kitchen is well appointed and the queen bed was very comfortable. You should be aware that there is no dishwasher but washing a few dishes was no problem for us!

Friends Trip

This was a one week trip with my Friend, starting in the UP and ending in the Harbor Springs/Petoskey area. This Rental in Harbor Springs was really nice. It was very clean and had everything we needed for a 3 night stay. Both beds were very comfortable, which is hard to find in a rental. We felt very comfortable and safe during our stay. The house is located in a very cute neighborhood. It was very quiet at night.

Harbor springs cottage aug 2023

House had a great location right up street from great grocery store and bike trails and close to town and golf courses. Home perfect for a couple and a dog!! Only one small bathroom so a family could be tight. Very well equipped and clean.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage in Harbor Springs! It's one of the most well-stocked rentals we've ever stayed in-- the kitchen has everything you need and there are even beach towels. It's very close to downtown Harbor Springs. The backyard is huge and we had a great time making a fire and roasting marshmallows in the fire pit. Maureen is an excellent communicator and even took the trouble to mail us something we forgot. Would recommend!

Love the Little Blue Cottage!

Perfect little cottage for our family of 4 and small dog. My boys spent the weekend at the Highlands and I hung out in the cottage doing homework (Wi-Fi is amazing!) and walking the neighborhood. They had everything we needed! We gave the boys the room with the TV so we could stay up later and watch our own shows. I would love to come back! Thank you for allowing us to stay at your cozy cottage!

Quaint & Clean

Our family of 3 stayed for 3 nights for a NYE getaway with our dog. The house was the perfect size for us - and our teen had his own room. As a dog friendly property, we found the home impeccably clean! It’s a small house, but had everything we needed to be comfortable. We did not walk to town because of winter temps & snow. Had it been summer, we probably would have. The shower is small for grown men, but the renovated bathroom is quite nice. Most of all, the communication with Maureen was excellent, and she helped resolve an issue we had (which turned out to be our fault, not the property or renter!) immediately and above our expectations. A cozy stay for the new year!
