Vacation at "The Boat House", Private Beach, Near Harbor Springs

  • Come enjoy this family friendly beach apartment in a private community. The property features 2 bedrooms (1 king, 2 bunk beds) and a bath. The great room includes kitchenette with Thermador cooktop, small refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster oven, microwave, toaster, and a complete set of Calphalon Cookware Herbs, spices, sugar, coffee and tea, as well as soap, shampoo, laundry detergent, and paper products. There is a washer/dryer combo in the bathroom. The Boat House also has HD TV, AC/heat, charcoal Weber grill on large deck overlooking the private beach--access to 60 feet of waterfront! Check out what's happening in the workshop—Dave is an avid modeler and happy to tell you all about his models. Unfortunately the Boathouse is not pet-friendly or accessible for wheelchairs as there is an outdoor flight of stairs to access the apartment. The home is currently for sale so showings might be necessary during your stay.

This was all around the perfect stay! It is both a cozy cabin in the woods and a convenient beach house. The kitchen is very well stocked with supplies for cooking. The boat house theme is very quaint and charming. Everything in the house is very high quality. Sitting outside on the porch or in the chairs on the beach provides a beautiful and restful experience. It is the perfect distance from town to be close to the shops but still be on a quiet private beach. Highly recommend!

Charming Boathouse Stay

Very clean with nice lake decor. Quiet and good location at the beginning of Tunnel of Trees. Nice sandy beach. Charming well informed hosts. This was my second visit.

Great Place and Beach

My husband and I stayed at the Boat House and loved it. It was very clean, updated, had all amenities needed and the private beach was perfect. The location was quiet and within close range to the tunnel of trees, Petoskey, parks and shopping. I recommend going to the Pond Hill Farm (5 minutes away) for plenty of children activities, food, beverages and a band. We had a great stay here.

Cozy and Beautiful

We loved our time at Pam and Dave’s Boathouse. This truly is a hidden gem and was the key to our relaxing and fun week in Northern Michigan. The space was perfect for our family of three, including a pack and play, booster seat and blackout shades in the bedrooms to make traveling with an infant easy. The boathouse is steps away from the lake, which made for a relaxing and fun-filled week. We so enjoyed our time here!
