"Quiet and good breakfast"

"The reviews I read about this place are correct. The newly remodeled rooms have resulted in a hotel that has an old-fashioned sign and exterior appearance, so you’re unsure if it’ll be okay. Then, you enter the office and will be surprised because of how nice, clean, and modern it is. You’ll drive to your room and will likely park directly in front of it due to the great deal of parking, and then you’ll open the door and be surprised, again. Clean. Did I mention: clean? Clean. Modern. Medium to firm but comfortable beds. Thin, but warm blankets. (No comforter, so take one if you want one.) TV with really good, basic cable channels including: E!, AMC, national news stations, and more. Free WiFi. Spacious bathrooms with countertop space and really nice mirrors that have built-in lighting. Privacy screens on the windows so the sun can shine in during the day, but you can’t see inside from the outside. (Be careful and close the blinds after sundown. At night, people won’t have a crystal clear view into your room thanks to that screen, but they can see so always close the blinds for safety.) * I stayed with my senior citizen parents and small dog. It was so quiet that my dog never barked. * The hotel does not charge a pet fee. * Breakfast included: pastries, lots of bread and bagel options that you can toast, cereal, waffles, orange juice, coffee, etc. I would stay here, again. Oh! The front desk clerks (day and overnight) were extremely professional and kind."

"Plenty of parking spaces, no car door dinging for sure. Could use a street light of some sort. It was pretty dark during the night. Now the room was extremely nice. It was cleaner than some other big name hotels I’ve stayed at. Wife and l were really impressed with how nice it was. 2 bathrooms dining table with chairs full size fridge sink microwave. Home away from home I’d say. No complaints with a/c it worked great. Staff member sent me exact instructions to find and enter my room because I was arriving after office closing hours. I have never seen rooms with names instead of numbers. I will definitely be staying there next time l visit Harlingen. "
