This was a last minute stay because we were evacuated from our first hotel due to smoke from the Texas fire. We arrived in Childress along with many others who were evacuated from their homes. The desk was was handled by a very calm, efficient man who I think may have been the manager. I have never stayed at a Best Western so I was pleasantly surprised. The room was large and immaculate. In our 7 nights of traveling this was one of the best. The little freezer in our refrigerator actually...
