"The desk clerk when we checked in was unfriendly and unwelcoming. The day time staff were very lovely so they made up the difference. Our room was spacious and bright and met our needs for our one night's stay."

"Check in was really easy and we got a free drink which was nice. Room was clean and quiet, which is surprising as our room was directly across from the lifts (elevators). Second night was great in the bar as there was an open mic event on nice and relaxed and a nice place to have some drinks. I would recommend staying here and will certainly return to Moxy York in the future as the hotel is 5-10 mins walk from the central areas "

"Its a great hotel in a fantastic location, 5 mins walk from the York minster. Staff are so friendly and welcoming and can't do enough to help you. Room was on the top floor, very comfortable and lovely bright decor. . Parking on site is also a big bonus. Breakfast was delicious and plentyful. Thankyou to all the great team."

"Really good hotel with very friendly staff. Excellent location quiet street yet close to railway station 10 minutes walk one way and 10 minutes to city centre the other. Room was lovely, clean, big shower with movable shower head. Breakfast good presentation, hot food was hot, plenty choice. Defo recommend. "
