  • This quaint suite is situated just off of Highway 290, and is centrally located to many Hill Country attractions like wineries, music venues, and activities in Fredericksburg, Kerrville, and Junction. 25 minutes to Main Street Fredericksburg; 30 minutes to Louise Hays Park Kerrville; 45 minutes to S. LLano State Park Junction. We welcome you to our home full of family history and fun memories. It is set up like a hotel suite with a small refrigerator, coffee pot, and microwave in the living room. There is no one else on the property, but we are close. It is considered a suite because you will not have access to the large full kitchen.

Small town getaway

My friend and I went on a beer, wine and distillery tasting tour from Texas Wine Tours where we were picked up & dropped off at the home in Harper which was only a 25 minute drive from Fredericksburg. We enjoyed the quietness and the Longhorn Cafe was within walking distance from the home. The home was really cozy, we enjoyed all the photos of the family's history and sitting out on the screened porch at night. I would go back because of it's proximity to Fredericksburg and it's not as busy.

Property was perfect for us. Our family has been visiting Gillespie county in Nov/Dec since the 50s. This weekend we needed extra lodging and are grateful such a nice place to stay was made available by the host. Clean, comfortable, reasonable and convenient! We also appreciated the family history on the walls based on our history in the area. I was grateful to find such great accommodations for my father (80) and son (16) for our trip that weekend. Amazing stay! The host is very friendly and attentive. We loved that there were instructions for everything you may need and recommendations for your stay as well as much needed toiletries (we forgot toothpaste!) in case you forgot something. Overall a wonderful stay, we will definitely book again.
