Oceanfront home with dock, beautiful deck & firepit - steps to the beach

  • Stunningly situated on a small peninsula at the water's edge in Harpswell, this oceanfront home offers breathtaking views in every direction. Each morning, you can take your kayak (large boats are not recommended) from the dock, gather stones and seashells on Clark Cove Beach, and unwind every evening on the expansive deck, dining alfresco as the sun begins to set. Please note that the owners live onsite above the garage. The max boat size that we recommend to launch at the property is a kayak or a canoe. All other boats will not fix in the area provided.

    This two-story home sits on a tiny peninsula between Merriman Cove and Clark Cove, right next to Clark Cove Beach. The oceanfront position grants it beautiful views of the water from sunrise to sunset, as well as a large lawn that rambles down to the shoreline. You'll feel worlds away from the city, yet you're only 10 miles from Brunswick and Route 1. Easily reach Bath (17 miles), Popham Beach (33 miles), Portland (37 miles), and other lovely parts of the Midcoast.

    Wake up each morning to the sight of local lobster boats, and bring your coffee and breakfast outside to the wraparound deck. There are outdoor spaces to enjoy at every time of day, whether you're basking in the shade of the patio, barbecuing on the gas grill, or stargazing by the firepit just across the yard.

    The house is open and spacious, with oceanfront views filling the inviting living room. There's a well-equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a dining room table for family dinners on cool evenings, and a wood-burning fireplace to warm you as you stream nightly movies. There's also a classic, casual family room downstairs, complete with a fun wet bar. High-speed WiFi and a private washer/dryer are provided for your comfort as well.

Fantastic home for a gathering with friends or family!

The view was spectacular and very peaceful. House was fully equipped any beautifully decorated. Location was perfect for what we needed and the hosts very helpful, friendly and accommodating! Highly recommended it for a great vacation!!

My girlfriends and I spent the weekend here, and it was amazing! The home was perfect, and the views were breathtaking. We felt right at home! The trails nearby were great for morning time exploring. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful Views From This Waterfront Home

The listing photos do not do this home justice. It is spacious, comfortable, and has great views from most windows. The deck is really well furnished and useable. Coffee on it at sunrise was spectacular. The second floor master bedroom suite is extra large and comfortable, plus it offers outstanding views as well. The yard is spacious and well landscaped. We loved the area and highly recommend this summer home.

Beautiful House and View

We had a wonderful time staying here in Maine. The home is beautiful and the views are amazing! But there are a few things to point out that could have saved us some trouble. We did not realize the owner stayed on the property. This was not in the listing and caught us by surprise when we can home one night to find a truck in the driveway and light on in what we learned to be the apartment above the garage. Although we now know the owner to be a very nice person, we were unaware that they would be staying in a separate apartment above the garage. We could not reach the owner and had to go through Vacasa. It took hours to figure out what was going on, and it was certainly an interesting night. The house also is listed as 3 bedrooms. It is 2 bedrooms and an open loft area outside the master bedroom. The listing says air conditioning, but if it is there, we certainly couldn't find it. Definitely not central air. Luckily it was cool at night. Location was great and highlights were dinner at Cook's, a day in BoothsBay and whale watching, and a day in Portland. We also enjoyed swimming off the dock in the very cold water. We really enjoyed our stay.
