"This is a party hotel. Do not expect to sleep. The noise was unbearable. It escalates after 11 pm and crescendoed at 4:30 am. It sounds as though it’s in your room. Running and hollering, shouting, screeching and rough-housing all up and down the halls through the night.
At about 7:00 am the room on the floor about started a repetitive banging sound, a construction of something going on above. It was a Sunday morning!!! It was beyond to have to endure that. I thought my stay could not be worse.
At 8 am the housekeeper started banging at my door and shouting. Next I hear another voice calling to open the door which was latched, a male voice. Then I hear walkie-talkie Haitian accent security screeching “police!! “They tell me this room is rented. I screamed “yes to me!”“and leave me alone! He told me I didn’t have a “do not disturb” card on the door.
This was the icing on the cake. Some dude is threatening to call police. A few minutes later he is quoted a different number room from his mgmt.
This hotel stay was one of the worst.
Do not even consider this hotel if you want any kind of organization or peaceful enjoyment.
Yes it has a restaurant and bar but do not expect any kind of care or service, nevermind peaceful enjoyment.
Btw, the balcony “king suite” was tiny, cramped. tired and old."
