"Such a beautiful place to stay! Super clean, super quiet, and easy to get to. Sienna was super communicative and kind. It’s hard not to fall in love with this cabin and want to stay forever, couldn’t recommend more!"

"Great rustic lodging. Helpful and friendly host. Beautiful area and close to many hiking trails in parks and preserves. Highly recommended if you want simple, rustic lodging with comfortable accommodations (nice bed, everything needed for a compact kitchen to prepare meals, and nice picnic table for eating outdoors). "Arletta was a great host. She was very responsive and helpful. The house was nicely laid out and private. The house was also very clean. We would definitely stay there again. There was great access to the Downeast Sunrise Trail also."

"My family has an excellent time staying here for the week! There are tons of shops nearby, the host is very responsive, and the secluded nature of the home makes for a nice stay. We would definitely stay here again!"

"We loved the view of the harbor, the quietness of the area, and the adjacent restaurant (great coffee). The owner was very kind and our stay was lovely. "

"It’s name says it all. A perfectly sized, literal “bed room” in the middle of the woods. The fire pit had wood all ready for me to use. If you were to come in the winter, the tiny home has a wood stove to use as well."

"The tiny cabin was beautiful. Fresh, clean, and well stocked/prepared. The only slight negative was the bed in main bedroom was a little uncomfortable and the auto-text check-out reminder that woke me up at 6am on vacation! I told the owners that they need to adjust the time it goes out to 8 or 8:30. Otherwise a great stay, would do it again!"

"This was a great little house. It had everything we could need and more. Everything was clean, the bed was comfortable, the Roku TVs work included HBO Max in living room and bedroom were a nice touch too."

"Elsa's is still our favorite place to stay in the Prospect/Winter Harbor area. It's a cozy, comfortable and quiet Inn, with thoughtful and friendly hosts. The breakfast is reliably delicious. And its just a short drive from artists and their galleries and the Schoodic Penninsula area, which is both beautiful and awesome."
"The host was very informative, friendly, and humorous. The room was cute, clean, and comfortable in a beautiful and quaint setting. Breakfast was tasty and enjoyable in a very relaxing environment. "
Bring everything to camp minus the tent at our little cabin.

"I loved it! I used this as a base camp to go hiking in Acadia NP, and it was perfect for that, but I also could have spent my entire two days at the property and been very content. As it was, I slept deeply on my air mattress in the loft and watched the beautiful sunrises while sitting at the shore and while eating breakfast at the table inside. On the second morning, I also explored the entire lake with the host's canoe. It was quiet and serene, listening to a pair of loons that I was able to see up close while paddling. I took a short, refreshing dip in the clear water of the lake. I was there mid-week in the shoulder season, so maybe I got lucky, but I had the entire lake to myself. If I'd been staying longer, I might have wanted the ability to lock the cabin. I did have an orb weaver spider join me in the port-o-john, but I left it alone and it did me the same courtesy. Really the biggest issue was finding and getting there. Google gave me a location for the address that wasn't even on the correct lane. I arrived after dark and the long driveway and lack of signage made it hard for me to know if I was going the right way or going to end up at someone else's house. I bumped into some tree stumps that were hard to see in the dark. Upon leaving the property, the big SUV I was driving, a VW Atlas Crossfire, had issues with the loose rock and spun its tires going up the small hill close to the road. Overall, I highly recommend it and hope I can return!"
Secluded Lakefront, Dog-Friendly Cabin with Canoe, 7 Miles from the Ocean

"This past weekend, my family and I escaped to a hidden gem in the heart of Maine—a cabin that redefined serenity for us. Nestled among whispering pines and overlooking a glassy lake, the property was absolutely pristine, with every detail immaculately maintained, from the sparkling kitchen to the cozy wood-burning fireplace. The quiet was profound; no city hum, just the gentle rustle of leaves and occasional loon call, allowing us to truly unplug and recharge. We left feeling utterly refreshed and are already counting down the days: we’ve booked a full week here next year and plan to make this our annual tradition. If you’re seeking a flawless retreat, look no further—this place is pure magic."
