"First time in the Coeur D'Alene area for us, and what a place to stay. Right on the lake. Literally steps from the shore. Gorgeous views from the kitchen table through the large windows of the lake morning and evening! The place is rustic but clean, we really enjoyed our stay, and we appreciated all the help we had from Cliff. He answered all our questions and gave us some great tips about the area."

"If you read the way it’s presented it’s a cabin in the woods with an outhouse. Everything you need to survive is provided. We read some of the negative reviews and realized these were people who need to book a hotel room. We love every minute of it. Quiet Peaceful and Comfortable. Our only disappointment was lake acres. One photo in particular lead us to believe that the cabin was on the beach. It was not. And overall disappointing is all lake access on Black Lake is private access. Good thing...

The location is about 30 minutes to each Coeur d'Alene and Harrison. Carlin Bay Marina is about 5 minutes away. "Absolutely no linens. So there's no sheets, blankets and pillows. I thought maybe it was my mistake but i went back and re- read the description and there's no mention on it. Also, dog hair EVERYWHERE. Don't drink the water from the dispenser too. I saw a BUNCH of floaties and wings of a bug of some sort. Pretty gross!"

"Had a fantastic week stay at the cabin. The setting was exactly what we needed for both our biking activities and two pups. This was our first road trip with them and have to say the location made it easy. Huge bonus was its quick, easy access to the CDA Trail. The mowed path to the river and “playground “ area was great for walks and fetch. The cabin was cozy, comfortable and well equipped. We’ll be back! "

"This was our second time staying (once when it was about -5 out and one while it was 80+ degrees). Both times were amazing! The property is very clean, amply stocked with dishes and everything you need to cook, a Kurig and coffee pods, and toiletries. The property is mostly quiet ( little Road noise but not much) and in a beautiful wooded setting. The host is attentive and helpful. Would definitely recommend!"

"It was a good size place for the four of us. To enter the driveway has to take cautious. No ventilation in the bathroom. It's not easy for the seniors like us to climb up the narrow whirled stairs to the loft bedroom. The place needs some touch up."

"Clean cozy and remodeled made this older lake cabin great! The back deck overlooking the amazing lake views was awesome. Although it could use some work having a nice boat dock was incredible. Internet was very slow but didn’t bother us too much as we weren’t there to work or watch tv."

"The home is in a great location, right downtown Harrison easy to walk to everything. Home was clean and great deck out back overlooking the lake. The weather was warm, but the home stayed cool One suggestion would be to get an AC unit, even just a small mini split considering the size of home. It had said was available when I booked, however I think it was removed before our stay. Outside of that, great place and would stay again. Thanks! "

"The place is very nice. The cabin had everything we needed. But there are 116 steps down to the water. We have a boat, so we were up and down those stairs a lot. Good excise but also difficult to do carry things up and down in the heat."
