"Sakura was a wonderful property to stay at. The price was great and the room was comfortable with everything you would need! The feel is like a modern hotel room with your own entrance! "Blue Jay cottage is a quaint, lovely cottage. The hosts were very responsive whenever we had a question and the cottage had everything we needed. The setting was perfect, right on the water with access for our kayak and paddleboard. Easy access to Mahone Bay, Lunenburg and Bridgewater. They had lots of little extras, in case we forgot anything, like chargers, condiments and all of the necessities. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!"

"Certainly not your typical soulless empty purpose built rental. Jan & George have filled their unique little space with interesting items. We spent three nights and every day noticed something else to look at. The wildlife is incredible, hummingbirds, fish, squirrels, it’s obvious they’re very fond of the property and their humans. And the friendliest dog ever! The water was crystal clear and absolutely beautiful for swimming. If you’re looking for a unique friendly nature surrounded place to stay where you’ll be treated like family, you’ve found it."
