"Slight delay to get in when it was late (22:50): several buzz a few mins apart and nobody was answering the phone. Luckily someone came in. Otherwise really good stay: friendly staff, bedroom spacious, bed comfortable and great facilities."

"Not sure they react to what's booked with Expedia etc but after hiccup. It was alright and breakfast is free. Free tea and Internet. Beds were good enough and showers were good. Next to by byker station also, the area ain't up market but the hostel is cheap and serves a purpose,"
