"We loved our time here at the Effala suite. It was located right in the middle of the heart of Colmar so lots to see and do outside but there was a nice quiet courtyard inside the gate when you wanted to get away from the crowds. I picked this place for the views out the windows and that did not disappoint. We stayed there early May, so it wasn’t too hot without air conditioning, but may be a factor at other times of year. We had a very pleasant stay and would definitely stay here again....

"We were met by the owner who showed us around the property and was very helpful and friendly about the property but also the area and places to visit. We all had a great 6 days there and saw some really good sites. Thoroughly recomend thie house and the area."

"The apartment was secluded and in a very quiet part of the world and was very relaxing. Facilities were as described and just right for a small family. There was lots to do in the area and lots of nice walks from the apartment."

"A chance to stay in a quaint Alsace house on our travel through France. We just stayed one night so didn’t explore the immediate area. The attic flat was modern and clean with everything needed for a comfortable stay. "

"Accueil chaleureux par la propriétaire et de bons conseils ! Un bon lit , de bons volets , une chambre au calme… on dort bien .. parfait pour faire un Trail dans les Vosges.. Dommage, pas de soleil pour profiter de la jolie terrasse… un petit jacuzzi m’a manqué pour l’après…"

"Stayed for a week in this lovely flat on the Rue du Rempart in Eguisheim during the last week of September. Very well equipped and cosy feel in a perfect location for access to the Centre of this lovely village. The flat was spotlessly clean and the owner met us with the keys and explained anything we needed to know. The new wine festival started our week well and everyone we met was friendly and helpful. "Very well equipped and very clean apartment. Set on hillside within walking distance (10 minutes) from town. Steep on way back but you could use car, we are in our 70’s and not a problem. Great outdoor space, with barbecue, table and chairs, loungers and, of course the view. Jean- Pierre speaks very good English and lives above the apartment. He is very helpful but not intrusive. "Prêt de tout en voiture, 5min de la station, 5min d'une boulangerie et des commerces, 5min de "Bol d'air" et balade en partant directement de l'appartenant qui se trouve au rez de chaussée, on peut profiter du terrain, loin de la circulation, idéale pour les enfants, accueil super, vraiment rien à dire. Ah si il manque quelques couverts."

"Frau Güntert hat ein Biotop geschaffen, dass zur Ruhe, zur Besinnung und zum Atemholen einlädt. Absolut imponierend! Wir haben uns daher rundherum wohlgefühlt. Es gab nichts zu bemängeln. The train station is literally a few min walk and provides easy access to Colmar, Strasbourg, etc. So many great must see villages, must try wines, must see vineyards and tasting rooms and great restaurants. "The location was amazing. The parking is limited so make sure to book asap. $10. The AC was great. . Tv was good. The bad.. the elevator was broke and we were on the 5th floor. They offered no discount or even free coffee.. we were told our room was ready 3 times and after walking up 87 steps up we find out its not. Down up down up.The laundry listed is in a basment dungeon that is wet and dark. It costs 4$. The check in time was listed at 4 but it was closer to 5. The shower is beat up and...
