"The pictures don't do the place justice, the location is great and its minutes walk into Borrowash for shops and pubs etc and only a few minutes drive into Derby. The place is quiet and very clean and well maintained, secure and welcoming. Theres only three rooms so its not overly busy and the parking is very secure with a phone controlled gate on entry and exit to the property. "My friend, my two dogs and I spent a lovely couple of days at Tonga Cottage, it is one of the best cottages that I have stayed in. It was spotlessly clean, very well equipped with a lot of helpful local information. My dogs loved the garden and the hot tub, with that lovely view, was amazing. I would highly recommend it."

"This place is far from lovely with no attention to detail. Furniture sporadically deposited in random rooms with a new kitchen that is little more than lipstick on a pig. Uncomfortable single beds, not a lamp or a bedside table to be found anywhere in the house. Owner is just out for a quick buck. Hotels.com need to inspect this place. Terrible experience save yourself and never stay here "
