"Property was once a Holiday Inn and is just a tad dated, but everything was very neat and clean, outdoor area well-maintained. Hallways well-lighted with good-looking carpet. Our room floor was tiled (thank goodness for this trend) with a comfortable bed, nice linens, good towels, wall-mounted toiletries, responsive HVAC. Desk staff welcoming, friendly, helpful. It was convenient to basic shopping, fuel and the interstate. Parking area can accommodate trucks, which I am sure is helpful. NO in-room coffee, hair dryer, or phone, just FYI. Iron and board available, though. Check-in clerk provided ice for us from the kitchen; vending in lobby for drinks and snacks. Room spacious and clean (notified desk at check-out about need for cleaning under the bed), good shower temperature and pressure. Our room had a couch which is always nice. Good lighting although no USB ports. Breakfast was different: four hot items (eggs, sausage, hash browns, biscuits and gravy) of varying quality and preparedness. I thought it strange there was NOTHING to toast. No waffle-maker but syrup included among the condiments. Good quality packaged muffins. Apples, juice-flavored drink, milk. Coffee/tea/cocoa/hot water available at all times in lobby. The price was right for a one-night stay, and we would stay again rather than pay serious high prices at nearby chains."
