Hartwell suites family stay

My family and I were out visiting during a trip to see relatives and it was the perfect size and met all our needs. The only thing that was bothersome were the fruit flys or “gnats” that were in the rooms. The cleanliness was top notch overall.

It was nice to be in walking distance of restaurants and boutique shops. Hotel was located directly across from a local coffee shop. Would prefer having a king bed option, but the queen was comfortable. Awesome shower!

Enjoyed the cozy suite! Being in Hartwell for the week on business, felt good to come back to a nice cozy room to relax and enjoy. Any questions were promptly answered by the hotel contact. Would highly recommend the Hartwell Suites.

Cute downtown industrial style boutique motel. More like an airbnb. No one onsite. It was cozy. Right in the center of town with restraunts and shopping. Key pad was a little tricky at first. Took a bit to contact someone. The phone number invalid on website. Good for a short stay.

We came to Hartwell for a long weekend to see ByWater Call at the High Cotton Music Hall, right down the street, and also celebrate our 38th wedding anniversary. This property is very convenient to the venue and to the restaurants we ate at. It’s a neat place, lights, fan, and sound machine were on upon arrival which was welcoming (no windows in this unit so it is pitch black without lights on). We had a bit of an issue with not much toilet paper and a missing TV remote. Both were taken care of promptly after notifying management. We also ran out of body wash in the dispenser (mid-shower) which wasn’t noticed until after management was contacted about the other issues. We were not going to be there much longer so we didn’t bother saying anything. For the most part the place was clean however the wash cloths looked like someone had cleaned the floors with them. You could tell they had been laundered but looked nasty and the towels were stained as well. We would definitely consider staying here again due to the proximity to the things we go to Hartwell for.

I needed to be in this part of GA for training with my dog. This place was closer to Hartwell Lake than other hotels. Delightful little town. The suite had everything I needed— little frig, microwave, coffee maker, room for my things, wifi, and convenient street parking. Nice coffee shop across the street and brewery restaurant around the corner. Be aware, suites 5 & 6 don’t have any windows, so if you are looking for a quiet, darker location, they are the ones for you. (An outside patio is in the works, but not yet available.) If you want natural light, pick one of the others. Overall, I was very happy and would stay here again.
