"Overall, my stay was very pleasant. The property was clean, well maintained, and had a wonderful ambience. The staff were courteous and professional throughout my visit, with the restaurant team deserving special appreciation for their exceptional service.
The only issue that left me disappointed was the pricing of a small can of moong dal from the minibar. I was charged ₹296 for an item whose printed MRP was ₹83. I find it difficult to understand how such a significant markup can be justified. If this is a Taj-branded product with different pricing, that is one thing, but if it is the same retail product, charging more than three times the MRP feels excessive and unfair.
This experience came as a surprise, especially given the otherwise high standards of the hotel. It unfortunately overshadowed an otherwise excellent stay, and I felt it was important to mention it in my review."
