Hot Tub Policy
We’re pleased to provide a hot tub for your enjoyment during your stay. To ensure everyone’s safety, comfort, and continued enjoyment, please take a few moments to read and follow this policy. These guidelines help us meet UK health and safety standards and keep the hot tub in excellent condition.
Usage Guidelines Hours of Use: 8:00am to 10:00pm – please keep noise to a minimum out of respect for neighbours.
Supervision: Children under 12 must be supervised by an adult at all times. No children under 5 are permitted in the hot tub due to health risks.
Showering: Please shower before use to remove lotions, fake tan, deodorant, and makeup, as these can affect water hygiene and damage the filters.
Time Limit: Limit each session to 15–20 minutes. Prolonged use can lead to dizziness or overheating.
Food & Drink: No glass or crockery near the hot tub. Plastic cups only. Avoid alcohol when using the hot tub, as it can increase the risk of accidents.
Health & Safety Do not use the hot tub if you are pregnant, have heart conditions, or are under the influence of alcohol or drugs without first consulting a medical professional.
Enter and exit the tub slowly and carefully to avoid slips or falls.
Do not use electrical items near the water (phones, speakers, hairdryers, etc.).
Never submerge your head or engage in rough play.
Maintenance & Water Care The hot tub is emptied, cleaned, refilled, and sanitised after each stay, so it’s ready and safe for your arrival.
For bookings longer than 7 nights, full instructions on hot tub care will be provided to help you maintain water quality during your stay.
A monthly maintenance check takes place around the 15th of each month. You will be notified in advance when Craig, our trusted maintenance representative, is scheduled to attend. His visit will be as discreet and non-disruptive as possible.
Please do not attempt to empty the hot tub. If you believe the water needs attention, contact us and we’ll assist you promptly.
Please Do Not: Add any soaps, bubbles, or oils to the water – these damage the filters and cause excessive foaming.
Sit or stand on the cover. Always replace the lid after use to retain heat and keep the tub clean.
Use fake tan or heavy cosmetics before entering.
Damage & Excess Cleaning Any damage or excessive contamination (e.g. from fake tan, glass breakage, or food waste) that requires draining, refilling, or professional cleaning may result in a deduction from your damage deposit.
Pet Policy:
Pets are not allowed on any of the soft furnishings throughout the property. Pets are not allowed to urinate on any of the carpets or soft furnishings as this causes permanent stains and damage. I f dogs gets wet on a walk, they will be thoroughly dried on arrival home. Dogs should not be left alone in the property for more than 4 hours at a time. Guests must ensure that their dogs will not cause damage to the property if they are left unsupervised. Any damage caused at the property as a result of your pet, will be chargeable from the damage deposit. Pets are left in a secure place at night during sleeping hours where they are happy and not distressed causing harm to the dog or damage to the property. All guests are responsible for their pets in accordance with the Animal Welfare Act. All pets kept at the property must be vaccinated and regularly treated for fleas and worms (if appropriate). Guests are responsible for keeping all areas of the property clean and free from parasites, such as fleas. Guests must ensure their pets do not cause a nuisance to neighbours. This includes excessive noise. Dogs must be kept under control and on a lead in any public places, communal areas and walkways. Pets must not be allowed to foul inside the property. Any pet faeces must be removed immediately from the garden or outside areas and disposed of safely and hygienically. Any animal listed in the schedule of the Dangerous Wild Animals Act 1976 may not be kept at the property. Any dog listed under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 may not be kept at the property with the exception of dogs registered on the Index of Exempted Dogs.
