"A glorious spot on Bruny overlooking D'Entrecasteaux Channel. Fabulous for sunset. The Bruny Lodge was perfect for our two night stay. Pub is close by for great meals. The accommodation was clean and very quiet. Would highly recommend "

"Accommodation was separate from the Hotel. Room and facilities very clean, catered for all my needs e.g. self-contained kitchen, bathroom, TV, comfortable bed, safe and secure car bay. Hotel decor was very homely and provided high quality meals. Staff very hospitably. Neighbouring towns and places of interest easy access by car."

"The house is perfect for couples or large groups, with a well stocked kitchen, heaps of toiletries, comfy lounge chairs and a huge dining table. The two patios offer relaxed dining or sipping wine, both with views. This is the first time we have taken our deaf cattle dog on holidays, and it was perfect for him (as advertised). The back yard was securely fenced, and we could run him up and down the beach and indulge his passion for swimming. At night the only noise was the waves... sublime. The hostess has thought of everything. Many thanks."

"What more can I say about Cygnet. Can’t wait to come back. We been travelling for three weeks and Huon Valley is a must on everyone list. We stayed in Cygnet Old Bank. Our room was large and very cosy this time of year. A lot of produce also around the area.(Yum)"

"This is the second stay our team has had at the Lune Mill River House in a stunning location. Our comments from the previous review still applies, but in short - prepare for an old draughty house on the river side. Bring sleeping bags if you are sensitive to the cold. We set our expectations accordingly, and had a wonderful stay. All team members were very satisfied with the accommodation and would book again. Note: any location this remote is subject to power outages. We have not encountered this during our two stays, but we prepared for this by bringing our own portable 240V power station."

"It was a short walk from the parking area to the unit. The wood panels and wood floor were interesting aspects of the accommodation. The unit was spacious with separate kitchen, downstairs table/eating area and adjacent lounge room. It was cold during the visit so although there was a great view of the nearby river from the outside table/eating area, we did not venture there at mealtime. The surrounding gardens were meticulously cared for and the range of plants present worth a look. The nearby tavern, the only meal option nearby, served good meals."

"Absolutely wonderful place full of beach vibes and we had a great paella cook off, loved the jigsaws and cosy fire. Would very happily stay again - and we probably will! A perfect house with everything we possibly needed. "
