"The house was very clean. Great fishing off the pier, steps away from the door. Nice elevated patio. Quiet. Easy to access. Short trip to Hastings, which is a pleasant step back in time. Several good restaurants downtown. Plenty of shopping. Walmart close for supplies. Will return."

"We found the lake house as expected. This was a quiet and peaceful environment. The view of the lake from both the deck and living room is wonderful. If you want a place to get away and have some quiet time this is it. Either plan to do your own cooking or have a bit of a drive each evening for dinner. It was only my second time in a kayak but the calm lake allowed me a great sense of security. The residential area also gave me a chance to get out for a walk each morning. The host quickly...
