This Guest house is a real gem! More like a boutique hotel. Our room was spacious, warm and beautifully decorated. Excellent shower with lots of hot water and great pressure! Bed was super comfortable. The Owners and staff were very helpful and friendly :) The breakfast menu was varied and delicious. Perfect location in Old town. Parking very close by. We will definitely be back! Thank you to all for a fabulous stay!

Great staff, good location and affiliated to next door Pub/Restaurant - Porters so really easy. Super breakfast too. A word of caution if you are more than 6feet tall and have room 7 on the top floor……you can’t stand up in there !

Exceptional hotel in Hastings Old Town

The hotel is in a great location in Hastings Old Town close to shops and restaurants. The room was spacious, v. comfortable and clean. The staff were really friendly and helpful, including Porters next door (good wine bar/restaurant associated with the hotel). It’s a remote check in/check out but we were sent clear instructions ahead of the booking with a contact host to call when we arrived. Breakfast is also really good with full, vegetarian, and non vegan options. Can’t fault our stay at all, we really enjoyed it and hope to come back…

September short break

We stayed for two nights mid week. Moore House is in the old town high street and has no parking space so had to park in nearby public car park which is only a problem if you have much luggage. Our room, on the top floor was very clean and comfortable. Loved the decor in the breakfast/lounge. Breakfast was lovely. Good choice and well presented. Danielle made us very welcome and is an excellent host.
