"Chalet dated but very clean and well equipt. Fabulous location and we sat outside on the decking frequently. Very close to a main trainline into London but we knew this as visiting friends having previously lived in Broxbourne. Didn't bother us. Sofa not comfortable to sit & enjoy TV. Very hard. Only other negative was the twin beds. Despite the mattress toppers, the springs in the mattresses have gone. They do need replacing. Sadly we had an uncomfortable few nights sleep! "

"Great place to stay for the night. Wonderful breakfast. Staff are very friendly. Construction going on outside made accessing the hotel a challenge for us and for our taxi driver, but no matter, we slept well. That’s the important part. "
