"My wife and I stayed at Jenn's place for a week while enjoying the Sussex area and surrounds. We also enjoyed the Sussex Balloon Fest. while there. The place is wonderful!!! She provided all kinds of cooking basics such as oils, vinegars, spices, etc. We only used 1 out of 3 bedrooms but the bed was comfortable. I really enjoyed the vibe of the home and felt like I could live there myself. Wif worked great. We enjoyed the back deck with barbecue and she has provided many thoughtful touches. She provided use of the kayaks and SUP boards which is just a short walk to the water from their place. Also fun was a freesbie golf cage right in their backyard to play as well. It was a really nice stay! "

"The Shadow Lawn Inn was exquisite! We could not have been happier with our accommodations and the restaurant was beautiful and the food just delicious. The property is a beautiful vintage Victorian Home. If you are visiting Saint John NB this is the perfect quiet place to stay and it is only a 15 minute drive to the downtown. We would most definitely recommend the Shadow Lawn Inn. Thank you for a beautiful experience!"

"We loved this spot and are hoping to return again. There was a hiccup in checking in because the app had the wrong address listed (it was missing a 1 in the number), and we could not access our messages (partially due to the buggy app, and partially due to spotty internet) so we did not know how to check in. Despite that,the owner was quick and gracious in her reply to our flustered phone call and the rest of the stay was perfection! "

"We booked this property as a couples’ getaway weekend prior to a busy and stressful time about to begin at work. And it reset our system, 110%! We crossed paths with the hosts while checking in, and had a wonderful conversation. What lovely people! We wish them all the very best. The property itself was spotless, very well maintained, and totally unique in so many ways. The hot tub provided a perfect place to relax and enjoy a drink, and the optional (which we opted for!) bedroom setup was….let’s just say….unforgettable. We have rented accommodation all over the world, and this was truly a one-off offering we have never seen elsewhere. Count us back in some time soon!
