"I arrived at the hotel on September 24 at around 12:30pm after a LONG motorcycle journey. The maintenance representative approached me with a smile and a beautiful greeting and welcomed me to the property. He stated that the rooms were not ready yet, but hung out and talked with me for a little bit and made me feel very welcome and at home. His girlfriend/wife, (head of housekeeping) as well as the front desk clerk all welcomed me to the property and made me feel like family. The room was extremely clean and every part of the hotel was pristine. Breakfast the next morning by the rockstar breakfast hostess was amazing. The entire staff was inquisitive, helpful, genuinely interested and it was a place that I will definitely stay again. All 14 staff members (more like family) at that property are extraordinary and all should be recognized on a daily basis. Thank you Hood River Holiday Inn Express Team, Scott K."

"Located in a scenic location overlooking the Columbia River (can't see River from most rooms), but beautiful walks. Next to Columbia Gorge Hotel where you can walk to and have a delicious dinner. Property is well maintained and nicer and a better value than chain hotels in the areas."

"Great little place, easy to get around and very comfortable and quiet. Kitchen area is quite small, but there are lots of good restaurants/food trucks nearby. Communication with Host is smooth, friendly and helpful. They had some great tips for things in the area. I would happily stay here again."
