"Obwohl die Hütte bei unserer Ankunft nicht wirklich sauber war, haben wir eine sehr gute Zeit in diesem schönen Haus in traumhafter Umgebung verbracht! Der Blick ins Tal ist einfach unvergleichlich! Schade, dass die Lifte nach Ostern nicht mehr in Betrieb waren und wir 50 km ins nächste Skigebiet zurück legen mussten, um Skilaufen zu können."

"Very beautiful house just like the pictures on the website. Wonderful view over the valley and ideal for skiing and having a white christmas. Everything you need is there: enough dishes, cutlery, towels etc. - even spices, salt, oil and so on. What we missed were some hooks for clothes in some rooms or a commode. "If you read various new travel guides you will find nothing good. But that doesn't do Hovden justice, because it was the starting point for many wonderful hikes for us. "First we couldn't find the office to checking in. It is at the other end of the town. We were asked if we brought our own bedsheets and towels after we checked in. Ended up we were charged 360nok on rental for one night stay and made our own beds. And you have to strip the the bedding and return them to the checking counter on the other end of the town to check out. "
