"My husband and I had a lovely stay here while we completed several day hikes in Northern Corsica. The owners were wonderful hosts. We really appreciated the bounty they shared from the fruit and vegetable garden on the property. The view from the shared pool was amazing, and the patios were great for relaxing after a long day of hiking. With a rental car, we found it easy to access multiple trailheads for hiking in Northern Corsica, from Losari to Vivario. We would definitely come back here!"

"Notre hôtesse a accueilli mon fils et sa petite famille superbement bien. La maison est très agréable, spacieuse, super bien équipée . Le fait qu’il y ait la Clim dans la pièce principale fut un confort qu’on a grandement apprécié avec les deux petites ( 4ans et demi et 22 mois) tant la canicule sévissait. "Das Haus ist prima um zu entspannen. Mitten in der Natur. Die Strecke bis Bastia ist ein ganzes Stück und sehr kurfig, da überlegt man sich schon ob man wo hinfährt oder doch zu Hause bleibt. I'm Haus selber ist aber auch alles verhandeln. Und die Straße rauf gibt es Samstags lokale Pizza. Sehr lecker."

"This is a beautifully modernised and well appointed old house in a small village in the foot hills of the mountains in northern Corsica. Chantal the owner was warm and welcoming and very helpful. Small cafe and epicerie (limited stock) close by, where the atmosphere is very convivial (Chez Margot). Be prepared to negotiate narrow, winding roads and to take your time getting anywhere. Calvi, Ile Rousse and St Florent all just over an hour away; St Antonino and other pretty villages near at hand....

The bad points about the instructions and the gite were as follows: The map showing the location was inaccurate and we would never have looked into this industrial estate to find the countryside gite that we thought we had booked.
