"When I arrived at this property the owner finally answered the door, she said she had no knowledge of my booking. Finally I had to email her a copy of my confirmation. This wasn't made any easier by her statement that "she spoke no English" - the website clearly states multilingual staff. (In fact it later became clear she did speak English). The 'living-room' is actually set out as a shop and did not feel welcoming - I was not invited to use it anyway. The only restaurant in Salives was unable...

"Gîte assez éloigné des sites de visite possible dans les Vosges. La location se situe dans la plaine des Vosges alors que la majorité des visites intéressantes est dans les hautes Vosges. Nous aurions aimé échanger physiquement avec Pierre ou un e personne à son service. Malgré cela nous avons passé un séjour agréable"
