In the one case where we needed help with the AC, the caretaker responded promptly, and gave helpful recommendations for nearby activities."

"The host was welcoming and the home’s configuration and decor was charming. Right away our group that included tots, teens, grandpas and all the ages in between felt at home.We appreciated the host’s prompt communication and flexible support as we did some problem-solving for members of our group (like lost keys and changed itineraries).The location was ideal with easier drives to the PCC, a great beach for swimming, wading, and photos right outside the back door and a real treat for snorkeling just behind a neighboring yellow house. The hammocks, outside tables and chairs, and especially the swing made the outdoors even more inviting.The indoors had great views and comfortable temperatures.Learning how busy the road is that it is near made us extra glad we had paid the extra money to get a home right next to the ocean instead of other options just on the other side of the highway. Crossing the road would have been a big issue, but we didn’t have to worry about it in this home!The home was well stocked with cups, bowls, and beach towels, but could be restocked with some more forks and another sheet as it didn’t quite have all that our large group needed. We loved our stay at this truly magical beach home. We hope to return someday!"

"Place was as described, had everything we needed plus a few extra staples and household goods. Communication was quick and friendly. We had a great time and really enjoyed being right on the beach - it was so easy to go snorkeling and we got to swim with a bunch of sea turtles. "

"Amazing location! The host Terrie was very communicative and we had no issues checking in or out. We love the north shore and staying at this cottage made our trip even better! I do want to note that the cottage is one of a quad-plex (first floor, so can walk right to beach from the patio!) and the beach is shared with a hotel, so it was not as private as we initially expected, but that didn't affect our overall experience. Would book again! "

"Location was great. Close to the Polynesian Cultural Center, Laie, Waimea Valley and North Shore. Loved being in the country and didn't mind the drive down and back for Honolulu. House was lovely and beach was wonderful. "

"My family had an amazing time staying at this location. The views were incredible especially the sunrise every morning. The beach is private and the snorkeling was wonderful. Plenty of marine life including sea turtles which we had the pleasure of swimming with. I especially loved that this was on the windward side of the island away from the congestion of Waikiki. If you're looking for that true island vibe I highly recommend checking this place out. You won't be disappointed. It is a short drive to the north shore or Kaneohe. Our host Karon was so helpful with our accommodation and made our stay as comfortable as it could possibly be. I will definitely be staying here again in the future.
