Nice and cozy place to stay. Smooth communication and easy check-in. Direct access to the beach is also nice. Recommend for people who like relaxing and enjoy local Hawaiian vibes rather than going to town to do some shopping and touristy activities.

The condo was clean.. minus a bug issue.. but it wasnt horrible... and they were responsive on getting it treated as soon as possible. View and atmosphere was amazing. Would go back.

Perfect location for Laie area attractions.

Condo management was exceptional at communication and making us feel welcome. Great ocean view and beach access. When rennovations are complete this will be a perfect stay in the Laie area.

Room was solid but a little tight for 4 people. We had everything we needed and didn't stay in the room much so the size didn't matter as much. Easy access to a pretty nice beach and great balcony view to watch the sunrise. Only real downside was road noise which started very early.

We loved this condo on the north shore of Oahu. It had everything we needed for a perfect and relaxing vacation. Falling asleep with the waves crashing right outside and an ocean breeze coming in was the best sleep I’ve gotten in a long time.

Wonderful view of the beach, literally right in front of you. Lovely kitchen, I hadn't planned on cooking but did so instead. Tamura's is only a short drive to the north (a friendly country supermarket) and food trucks about a mile south from us so accessibility is not an issue. The 24/7 security in the property makes the guest have peace of mind avout safety. Katie, our host was very communicative early. She was responsive to any inquiries or concerns. We actually left one of pur laptop bags but we got notified literally 5 minutes after leaving the property so we were able to turn back easily. Good honest people ensuring guests are safe and having a great time. Mahalo.

We were excited to relax on North shore after long travel plans, but just know this is not a “Luxury Condo”. The view was amazing and definitely close to the ocean. This would be the only thing that is right on the advertisement. But it was not clean and there were roaches. I will say that the Manager is amazing and has communicated well from check-in until us leaving a day early. We have been told we will be compensated for the problems as long as we complete a review. So I guess we will see.

Cozy stay with great beach access

Well stocked kitchen, location is wonderful. Luxury is a bit of a stretch to describe it. It was cozy and comfortable enough for 2 people. Not sure how up to 6 people could stay there though. We didn’t have any issues or problems other than repair/construction right outside the lanai (but that’s temporary). Cozy is what to expect.

The condo is fantastic. Well stocked with amenities such as beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach bag and towels, hair dyer, curling iron, cloth iron, washer/dyer and more. Parking was easy and grounds clean. Construction wasn't bad except the morning we were leaving it was loud..View of the beach was gorgeous. Communication was through and quick.Would definitely come back.

Everybody need to understand this place is getting renovated. So dont expect wow yet. I see potential in this place after its finish. Noise of the construction is not loud at all. Plus we're out most of the time enjoying our vacation. We love the private beach access here. Great for swimming and snorkeling. Katie really help us with our needs. Thank you alot. I will break up the rating. Condo itself 8/10. Beach/grounds 8/10. Building itself 2/10. Condo was well stocked, clean, great view (5th flr), management responsive. There is snorkel equip, boggie board, beach umbrella, cooler, beach towels. The “bedroom” is a nook area with no room to go around the bed. The pictures are accurate but some wear since. Beach is good, the grounds area a little rough but not bad. There is a grass-covered area to relax in, pool is small but ok. The property: originally a hotel, converted to condo’s and semi-permanent residents. There will be construction for a long time to come but construction didn’t impact us. Roaches on property but not in condo. There are 14 parking locations on site, insufficient. 150 yards away is a grass/mud parking lot, walk along the road after parking. Parking is free. Due to poor construction quality and Kona Low with extreme rains, the elevators quit working, parking lot deep puddles. Parking security staff were helpful. The curb appearance of the building is shocking with construction materials everywhere that have sat for long periods. I would stay again

Oceanfront Punalu'u condo

This condo has a beautiful view and is well-equipped with everything you might need for your Oahu vacation (kitchen needs, beach chairs, towels, shampoo, laundry detergent, etc.). Katie, our host and was friendly, helpful and clearly answered my questions. As noted, the property is undergoing construction. During our time there, the crew was using a jack hammer for a large part of one of our days. Katie let us know that the construction-related noise changes from day-to-day, which was consistent with what we experienced. There was no noise on the weekend and on a few of the weekdays, the noise was minimal. Overall, the condo is perfectly situated for exploring the best Oahu has to offer.

Pretty views but small

The space was clean, and the ocean views were amazing. The communication was timely and very helpful. Although it was listed for 6 people, I would not stay with more than 4 people here. We had 4 teenagers with us (so 6 total) and with only one bedroom, the 2 pullout couches in the front room, the space was really tight. There is only one dresser with 5 drawers so with all our luggage it was very crowded. Also I would say that the beach is not for relaxing as there really is no sand space to set out chairs or towels. Overall I think that for a night (or 2 at the most) I would recommend this site but not for more than 4 people.

The location was nice, great view and has potential. They are doing some construction/remodeling so maybe the condition of the unit will improve. The property was run down and not very clean. AC consisted of a portable unit that never got the temperature in the unit below 78 degrees. No curtains on the windows so it was very bright for sleeping. Lots of highway noise. Bedroom was so small you couldn’t even walk around the bed, you have to crawl up the bed from the bottom to get in it. Would not stay here again.

Overall, this rental served our needs. We were a bit surprised by the description that it is a one bedroom unit, but there was no privacy for that bedroom as only a curtain separated it from the hallway to the bathroom. The kitchen had recently been updated, and was in great shape, and there were plenty of kitchen amenities which were much appreciated. Unfortunately, it wasn’t until a couple days before our arrival that we learned that maintenance occurring on the outside of the building would impact how we got to experience the property. They were sandblasting the outside of the building, preparing it for painting, which meant we never got to use our lanai during the day and had to move furniture from the lanai each morning into the apartment, making the apartment very cramped and crowded for us. No concessions were offered for the inconvenience. When you rent a property with an ocean view, you typically hope to be able to enjoy that view. We were unable to. Communication was great and the views were wonderful. However, the inconveniences that we experienced more very unfortunate.

We enjoyed our stay, the unit was very clean and had just about everything to cook, clean, do laundry, etc. The unit also had beach chairs, boogie board, and some snorkel equipment. The views from the balcony or lanai were amazing. We saw turtles, seals and gorgeous sunrises and sunsets from the lanai. The property is being revamped but that slight noise didn’t bother our stay at all. Overall we were pleased with everything and we hope to stay again in the future!

The place came with everything you might want when going on a trip from cooler, beach chairs, all amenities and even washer and dryer inside unit. It was nice having beach in backyard and food nearby. Only downside is there was not many but a few roaches and parking can be tough inside the hotels parking lot. There is multiple places to park very close to hotel so that’s not too bad.
