U.S. Credit Cards not accepted even in the hotels. Cuban money, the CUC, has no value outside of Cuba and can not be exchanged for any other currency.
Havana is a very old city that seems to be improving. The infrastructure needs improved first though.

Altogether, I loved the city and country. Norma and family are great hosts. The location is centrally and made it easy to walk to places.
