"We returned to Maui after 31 years, and we loved the island! The food and service at the Hyatt Regency Maui were excellent. This is a mature resort, and the lobby around the shop area could use a refresh. It has a beach, but be cautious of the strong waves. If you're planning to spend time at the beach, it's not advisable, as the beach appears to be eroding. We also visited the shops at Wailea, which offered great shopping and dining options! This location is within walking distance from the Hyatt. The Drums of the Pacific Lūʻau at the Hyatt Regency was fantastic!"

"The property is so well planned and landscaped beautifully. The lobby is very inviting and a perfect place to see stunning sunsets while lounging in comfortable chairs. Everyone was so cheerful, helpful and added to the magical ambience of the environment both physically and emotionally. The Sheraton is a place that depicts that Mauii feel. Thank you for giving our family a vacation we will always remember."

"This place has it all! Gorgeous pools in varying depths and with bridges, tunnels, waterslide, etc. Ocean is accessible right out the back of the property. Always easy to find pool chairs. Pool bar with service right to loungers and good selection. Friendly bartenders. Excellent location with access to the Hyatt next door and their even bigger waterslide (great for kids 6+). Easy 15 minute walk to Whalers Village, catamaran rides, golf, and Roy's. Staff is excellent and attentive, easy to communicate with through text for any additional items needed. Condos are spacious and well-appointed, with foldout couch in living room, comfortable king size bed, huge bathroom with shower, tub and double vanity. The views are gorgeous - most rooms have spacious oceanfront balconies. Even the mountain view rooms are beautiful, with a window looking at the ocean and the balcony facing a gorgeous inland mountain. It's the best deal in Kaanapali - with 3x the space of a normal hotel room at a great price, ideal location and perfect pool scene."
