Cheeky night away after a stressful couple of weeks. Couldn't have been better. Friendly staff, excellent food and drinks, and an amazing room. Decor recently updated and absolutely fantastic on all fronts. Cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Room was lovely, and fairly quiet for above a pub. When we arrived there was several sets of bedding’s and sheets drying in our room over chairs and a clothes airier, must have been left by housekeeping but not in issue we just folded and set aside. Only downfall was that the shower head didn’t stay up. We ate and drank in the pub also, food was absolutely gorgeous both evening meal and breakfast.

We were in room #4 which was directly on the street and over the bar. It was extremely noisy. When we opened the windows smoke came in from the smokers who were directly below us at an outside table. The service was good as was the food. But would not stay there again because of the noise issue.

Very convenient for what we needed to do in Hawes. Nothing is very far from anywhere else within the town. Recommend the Dales Museum and the friendly and helpful staff and volunteers there.
