"Fantastic B&B in an idyllic location, run by Rebecca who is the nicest host you could ever find. The room was spotless with a super comfortable bed. Breakfast was great too with a good choice of hot and cold items. We will definitely come back later in the year."

"I stayed here for two nights and had no issues except the toilet stopped flushing but this was sorted within minutes of my mentioning it to a staff member. The staff were all excellent and are very courteous and polite. The rectory itself is old and the rooms and decor are not modern but this just adds to the charm in my opinion. All said and done it’s a nice place to stay at a very reasonable price."

"I booked 3 rooms in total as visiting an event, the first two rooms were booked as twin rooms and my room was booked as a double, when I arrived the reception said all 3 rooms were twins which I disagreed with but had no option but to take the room. thankfully this was away from the function room that was hosting a wedding, unfortunately the other two rooms I did book where right above the function room and the walls were bouncing. The hotel had not informed us of this function or I would have requested quiet rooms. Only the bar was open for food and it was a very limited menu (burger or pizza) due to the wedding. Overall I was not impressed on the staff attitude - receptionist and not being advised of the wedding prior to our arrival. I travel a lot and most hotels will advise if there is a function on so you can ask for a quiet room."

"Location great. Ideal for the lovely Ellesmere area. Ideal camp for my triathlon at Ellesmere. Easy parking, easy access, easy living, easy shower room. Not one problem at all. I didn't like going home :D"
