The Address Citywest
6/10 Okay
"Hotel was fab, rooms very clean and cosy. Staff were very helpful. House keeping did fab job but never locked the door so when we returned late evening the door pushed open."

Maldron Hotel Newlands Cross
4/10 Poor
"While the staff were very kind, the property was not clean and well maintained. Stains on the furniture and bathtub, dirt around the bathtub and toilet. The food at the restaurant was not good. Our table of four did not enjoy our meals, and had to send food back multiple times."

The Lucan Spa Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"The parking was plentiful and secure, staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was hot with a good selection."

The Louis Fitzgerald Hotel
4/10 Poor
"The hotel was extremely warm and each hallway had an odd smell. The bathroom sink is as clogged. The beds were not very comfortable. We had a 3 bed room and each bed was lumpy and only had 1 pillow. We would not recommend for a stay before a long flight."

Cliff at Lyons
8/10 Good
"Property is lovely, very beautiful. We booked and paid through Hotels.com. Specifically said it was our honeymoon. On arrival, no mention of the honeymoon, just asked how we wanted to pay. Explained it was all paid for already and told those rooms couldn’t be paid for in advance. Eventually told by another member of staff we could be shown to our room and they would sort it out There were ants in our room - in the shower in the bathroom and on the headboard of the bed. The man who came with ant powder didn’t sound surprised. We were offered to change room. New room was nice, but not what we booked and significantly smaller. Dinner in the Mill was good. Food delicious and staff extremely nice. One or two bugs flying around in here too though, and cobwebs etc. Appreciate it is an old building, but would expect for it to be cleaned regularly. Breakfast was lovely. Staff on the second morning not the best - served wrong type of coffee and served hot chocolate in a tall glass with no handle and a paper straw. Spa was beautiful. The copper baths experience was gorgeous, as was the spa treatment. Would definitely come back to the spa. Overall, a nice experience. Cleanliness needs addressing. Staff very nice and polite, but standard of service is not what you would expect for the price paid and the type of property. We often felt forgotten about."

Clayton Hotel Liffey Valley
8/10 Good
"Overall a good stay. The cleaner came in early in the morning while we were in the room- that was a little weird. She didn't even acknowledge us she just looked at us then left. We had some trouble with the toilet flush- it was quite old and seemed like cistern trouble over user error. I mentioned this on check out and they logged it for maintenance. The restaurant was excellent- good service, good prices, good atmosphere. The pool was an experience- I didn't know you have to wear swim caps in all Irish swimming pools so we had to rent some from reception. Then it was only open certain hours and it's also used for local swimming lessons so it was heaving with kids and parents - so overwhelming from a sensory perspective. I wish they had this clarified on the website as I chose this hotel for the pool but wouldnt of it I thought it would be that chaotic. The hotel itself was quite nice- clean, quiet, great bar. Parking incurred a cost- 20€ for 2 days. Lots of people use the carpark and their parking ability is dubious!!! Prepare for people parking well over the lines and at weird angles!"

Glenroyal Hotel & Leisure Club
8/10 Good
"A good hotel with plenty of amenities including the leisure club. Food was excellent and I liked the sports bar where you could eat restaurant food and watch sport at the same time."

Carton House a Fairmont Managed Hotel
4/10 Poor
"This is a poor excuse for a Fairmont and it's isolated so you need a vehicle or taxis to go anywhere. Staff who fail do not appear to suffer any consequences. The hotel has three beautiful rooms but none of them were in use. It's really difficult to access the spa so prople with disabilities beware. Our room was the smallest we've ever had a Fairmont and its location was singularly inconvenient. Thee were only two places to eat and nothing nearby. Some staff were wonderful but too many were not. And the hotel is more expensive than better ones nearby. I love Fairmont Hotels but I can't recommend this one"

The Green Isle Hotel Dublin
4/10 Poor
"Kids charging around all over the hotel, made for an unpleasant stay."
