"Great location in easy walking distance to everything you would want to do in Galway. Room was clean and well maintained. Bathroom desperately needed shelving near sink and in the shower. Portable air conditioner took some tweaking but worked. Room could use a small refrigerator and a luggage storage option for early arriva. Overall a nice stay. Would rent again. "

"This place was awesome! Loved the dark and moody vibes. Everyone having their own bathroom was quite lovely. The walkability to the main streets was perfect. Space to park cars was very helpful. "Host was very communicative and left a lovely gift basket for us when we arrived. It's a true castle so don't expect modern luxury, but there's much to explore and a lot of history. Our group enjoyed our stay and learning about the previous occupants."

"With our large family, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Not only was the home beautiful, but it allowed for everyone to have their own space to relax and we never felt like we were on top of one another. It was close enough to the city but far out enough that it was a quiet place to relax at night!"

"We stayed for two nights and had a lovely, peaceful time. The food was delicious, prepared by Joyce, and we got a ton of advice and insight about the area and Ireland in general from Aidan. They were very friendly and welcoming, and the house and grounds are gorgeous and steeped in Irish history. If we ever come back to Tuam, we'd happily stay again!"

"A lovely and spacious home. We comfortably fit 7 people! The location was perfect for us to explore the Cliffs of Moher, Kylemore Abbey and Galway. The lakes nearby would be lovely to visit as well. "

"The house is very nice and cosy. It's located in beautiful landscapes of Connemara (lakes & forests). The host is very friendly. I recommend."

"The property is in an ideal location for Galway City and surrounding area.. It is dated and could do with some TLC ,along with the garden. The local area has some fantastic scenery and is almost a step back in time. The local Pub restaurant has a great atmosphere ,and the food and beer were marvellous! "

"Unique hotel with its interior design. Did love the red through the hotel. Modern hotel. Staff were attentive and could not fault them. Rooms were good. Hotel very clean and good parking. Enjoyed the bowls of sweets supplied in the lobby. Spacious bathroom. Thank you."
