"Wonderful property for a stay in Galway. Short walk to all the sites we want to visit. Quiet. Convenient parking on property. Only issue was trying to figure out the hot water in the bathroom. "

"We stayed for two nights and had a lovely, peaceful time. The food was delicious, prepared by Joyce, and we got a ton of advice and insight about the area and Ireland in general from Aidan. They were very friendly and welcoming, and the house and grounds are gorgeous and steeped in Irish history. If we ever come back to Tuam, we'd happily stay again!"

"A lovely and spacious home. We comfortably fit 7 people! The location was perfect for us to explore the Cliffs of Moher, Kylemore Abbey and Galway. The lakes nearby would be lovely to visit as well. "

"We really enjoyed our stay! The property was very clean and it was a great location for exploring the city. The one issue we had was with the laundry machine. "

"They took out deposit with zero communication. We booked and paid half, they didn’t contact us for the further payment, just took the deposit and cancelled without notice, ruined our joint family reunion, then kept the large deposit. "

"With our large family, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Not only was the home beautiful, but it allowed for everyone to have their own space to relax and we never felt like we were on top of one another. It was close enough to the city but far out enough that it was a quiet place to relax at night!"

"We had a perfect stay ay Nile Lodge. As the other reviewers have noted, this was our best experience ever renting a property. From the initial communication to leaving on our last day, we had no issues at all. The property itself is well maintained and in a perfect location for day trips or just walking into Galway. "Of the many visits to Ireland I've had, this could probably be my favourite cottage of all. The location is absolutely amazing how it's tucked away between the hills. The inside was very cute and cosy. Loved the nearest town, Oughterard, which had a lovely coffee spot, several grocery options, and an amazing pub. I didn't want to leave, and can't wait to come back."
