Healdsburg Cottage Walk to the Plaza, Workspace

The cottage is a well-appointed, stand-alone unit with a private gate and entrance which provides an ideal retreat for touring the Sonoma and Napa wine country. Located in a garden setting 5 blocks from the Healdsburg Plaza in the central, historic district, it is adjacent to a 2-story, 1880's Victorian farmhouse in a friendly, pedestrian neighborhood. The cottage (600 sq. ft.) sleeps up to four people and offers an open, sunny living area with vaulted ceilings, a bedroom* and large bathroom with a shower facility. The window seat overlooks the cottage garden. (* Note that there is no door between the living room and the bedroom. These two areas are semi-private and separated by a short hallway.)

The setting accommodates visitors who want to relax in privacy. The bedroom has a very comfortable (brand new 12/22) Saatva Classic Luxury queen bed, which gets rave reviews, with high thread-count sheets and high-quality towels/washcloths. The living area includes a Scandinavian Design queen sleeper sofa with a very comfortable memory foam mattress. The living area has a workspace with a desk, a USB charging station, and speedy Wifi. Amenities include filtered and sparkling water, local coffee with a Ninja coffee maker/foamer for specialty coffee drinks, a coffee press (for those who like it simple), and a variety of teas and an electric tea kettle. The cottage is perfectly suited for simple food prep as it is equipped with a sink, utensils, dishes, bowls, microwave, toaster oven, and under-counter refrigerator. An induction stovetop is available on request. The use of outdoor bbq is also available on request.

We also provide cable TV, Bluetooth speaker, and Wifi.

Enjoy dining outdoors in our quiet, private garden area, or read and relax in nearby redwood chairs. The cottage is within an easy walk to award-winning restaurants and shopping. It is very quiet and peaceful at night.

Great quiet cottage with great hosts. Kelly & David were very responsive to any questions and gave great recommendations on where to dine and what to see in the area. Thay also gave us lots of privacy so we could enjoy our little oasis away.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Healdsburg Cottage. The amenities were great and everything was walking distance. Our hosts were friendly (even Paco, the dog) and very accommodating. We've decided to make this an annual trip. I highly recommend this property!!

Great Place to Stay!

My wife and I had a fantastic 4 night trip to Healdsburg, and David and Kelly's cottage was the perfect place to stay. It is on a quiet street a short walk from the plaza. The on-street parking is right in front of the cottage. Everything was fresh and clean, and David and Kelly were excellent hosts. I highly recommend staying at the cottage.

Perfect spot in Healdsburg

This is absolutely ones of those places that lives up 100% to the description and the photos in the listing. If you are looking for a cozy & comfortable place as home base to explore nearby wineries & attractions - or just charming Healdsburg itself - this is the perfect place. We also booked David's Howling Wine Tours for a day during our stay - which was super convenient. We really enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to book again.

Great place, conveniently located!

We had a wonderful stay in Healdsburg at this delightful ADU located walking distance to everything. It was larger than expected and had all the comforts of home. Kelly and David are awesome hosts! Also want to give a shout out to David who took us on a fabulous "off the beaten path" wine tour. Very much enjoyed our entire visit.

Perfect!

This little cottage/bungalow is located about 5 blocks (10 min walk) from the square. It is in the "back yard" of the owner's home but still feels private and secluded. It is the perfect size for two people. Parking is always available right outside the gate.

Just lovely!

The garden was lush and gorgeous even in December. The location was incredible- an easy walk to town. The cottage was very sweet, just as pictured. And the hosts were also so nice! There was plenty of room in the bedroom for our baby’s pack and play, with walking room to spare. It was great! We’re definitely hoping to stay again on our next trip to Healdsburg!

Wonderful stay in Healdsburg

Walking distance to the Healdsburg Plaza and many local shops. David and Kelly were great hosts. They answered all of our questions within a timely manner. They also gave us many recommendations beforehand (a few weeks prior to our trip) so that I had time to prepare which wineries we wanted to see and set up reservations. It was our first time to the area, and it will not be our last! Thanks so much, David and Kelly!

Always a delight

We've stayed here several times and I'm sure we'll be back. The cottage is lovely, the hosts are great, and the location is perfect for walking into town. I'd give 5 stars if the bed were a queen (I think it's a full) and they provided breakfasts. But the cottage really can't accommodate either. I'd definitely recommend this rental as long as you're OK with that.

Cute little guest cottage about a half mile from the Healdsburg Square!

This guest cottage was a great spot to base our stay in Healdsburg. The pictures online are accurate and this little cottage (attched to the garage just behind the owner's house) is an easy 8-10 minute walk down to all the restaurants, tasting rooms, and shops on Healdsburg Square. It had everything we needed for our stay and gave more space than a hotel room. The only things that could be improved are the blinds in the bedroom area windows, which are so sheer they let in alot of light, and the shower. The shower only has glass on one side, which means that water is constantly splashing out onto the countertop of the sink.
